You will learn just how competitive the stock Vintage EQs and compressor emulations are, with direct comparisons to premium plugins that will demonstrate the quality that you already have available to you in the box.
Loads of producers have been using Logic Pro X for years, just using the same processes over and over again. But when was the last time you learned something new? Logic Pro X is an incredibly deep DAW. In Part I of this course, you will be taken in great detail through all of Logic's Vintage EQ models, as well as all of the different compressor emulations.
Your London based tutor Sam George aka The Producer Tutor takes you on a deep dive into these two crucial mix aspects: EQ and compression.
Logic Pro X is not included with this course.
In this course you will learn about each of the different Vintage EQs; what they emulate, their characteristics, and what their best uses are. You'll also learn about all of Logic's compressor emulations; which compressors they emulate, what characteristics you should expect from them, and how successful they are overall.
In a marketplace that is full of 3rd party manufacturers marketing their latest products at you, do you really need to spend more money to get that classic analog sound? Or is it all just a con? How much of that classic hardware sound can you get out of Logic Pro X without paying anything additional?
"Hi, I'm Sam, a London based composer, songwriter, producer and music educator. I have been working professionally in this field for 16 years. I am a trained and experienced educator, having taught in the best popular music institution in the UK, The BRIT School. When I first started learning music production I was shocked by the lack of quality resources available. So much of it was superficial, demonstrating tricks without giving context or theory. My style is all about the detail. I am thorough with everything I do. And that's what I promise to deliver to you in all my content. So if you want to learn things the right way, you're in the right place!"
Sam George aka The Producer Tutor - professional composer, songwriter, producer and educator. Charted at No.23 in the Independent Label chart with debut single 'Can't Go Back'. Cowritten and produced albums with Dom Brown of Duran Duran. Taught songwriting and music production at The BRIT School - former students are Raye, Rex Orange County and black midi.
